Car Park and Entrance
There is ample parking right outside the door and the car park is a flat shingle surface. Conference equipment can be unloaded at the double doors at the front of the buildings (width 1680mm). Level access into the building. Service dogs welcome in all buildings. Good mobile phone reception. Owners live on-site and assistance is available at all times. Light switches and air circulation switches at waist height, lighting can be individually selected for brightness and ambience. Accessible power and internet points.
Main Conference Area
Level, natural hardwood and terra cotta tiled flooring. Meeting tables and chairs – tables height 750mm, chairs upholstered seat and back. Informal seating area with one two; and one three seater leather sofas. Adjustable height flipcharts. Side working area, (height 750mm) with internet connection, phone, printer, copier and fax. Remote control TV/Sky/VHS (teletext) CD/Stereo. There is no wheelchair access into the kitchen area, it has two steps down for access.
WC and Shower
Wheelchair access down short, slight slope (width 1000mm) from conference area to toilets with non-slip protected surface, and hand support rail. Doorway into toilet width 860mm. Toilet height 380mm, with hinged support rail at side. Handbasin height 890mm. Shower unit 1200mm x 800mm. Total cloakroom area (2400mm x 2000mm) enabling assistance where required. Soap and towel dispensers above handbasin. Low level light switch.
Emergency Exits and Alarm
Two Emergency exits are through the front of the building (double doors width 1680mm), and through the rear, (width 800mm and down ramp at side of rear workshop). The alarm system is mains powered, with uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and when activated it flashes and emits an audible alarm. Alarm activation button are located at either end of the conference facility. Fire Assemble point is at the end of the car park which is a flat, level shingle surface.
